Q. What are your projections for this type of work or industry? Is it stable, growing, declining?
A. Yes there is great opportunity for jobs and growth. As you may know Computers and technology keep growing and jobs in this industry will continue to supply help for people using technology.
Q. What are the key trends or issues? New developments? Key challenges?
A. There is always more technology to learn about. Some of the Challenges is not knowing what kind of hours that you will have.
Q. What and where are the opportunities?
A. Any where you go in Information Systems will be great. currently with the job that i have it allows for independent and skilled work as compared to another job that deals more with people and dealing with them.
Q. What are typical salaries in this type of job, entry-level to experienced? What are the opportunities for career growth?
A. most beginning jobs are a reasonable pay but it depends on the type. Most jobs make a reasonable price around 50 thousand. the more technical and knowledgeable jobs provide higher pay.
Q. When and how did you get involved in this work?
A. I really Feel in love with computer stuff and writing programs. I got a Bachelors in Science and Computer Science. Most of my knowledge came from the company. They taught me about Operations, middle ware, business Intelligence, Security, Performances, and Inter Colling.
A. How important are specific credentials for entry or success?
Q. People have to be trained with computers and be able to know what is going on if there is a problem with any piece of technology. So credentials are highly encouraged.
Q. What’s a typical day like for you or someone in a similar position?
A. My job depends on whether there is work to be done or not. Some days I would work all day and other times i work partial days. specifically in my job i would go to a site and find out what the problem is. Then i would put a plan together and present it to them. That is what i do.

A. I love working with computers and finding out what the problems are when i go to different businesses.

A. The odd hours. Sometimes i will get a lot of work and other times i don't get a lot of work.

A. Having knowledge and skills with computers. Also having people skills to be able to deal with concerns that they may have.

A. In this field it is by showing that you work hard and then opportunities will arise.

Key Information System Terms
